I spend a lot of time around here saying I don't care what the media says about our team and telling others not to let it bother them.
Did a lot of that during the ML years.
Truth is I read this stuff too and it gets under my skin sometimes. I was pissed when I saw Burrow ranked under a butch of guys that never took an NFL snap at the beginning of the season.
Someone on here argued Burrows stats from last year weren't that good and we were over rating him.
Anyone that watched him play last year knew he was special. Maybe the numbers weren't there but the effort and the heart were. Anyone that watched knew the numbers would come and greatness was going happen.
Looks like the media finally figured out. And they're surprised. They shouldn't be. Anyone that watched him already knew.

Top 3. What a jump from week 1.
Outside of the interceptions his numbers are right there with 1 and 2. And he's really cleaned those up over the last number of games.
I hope they keep doubting the kid, seems he feeds off of that stuff.

Remember when Burrow was leading the league in INTs? While 14 over a full season isn't great, there are 8 QBs with 14 or more INTs (Burrow has 14, league leader is Trevor Lawrence at 17).

He did try to force a few throws early in the season and it bit him. He's settled down and gained some confidence since.

I agree, he had some head scratching interceptions. He also had some that were squarely on the receivers, one I remember went from possible long gain/TD to Chase to an interception.
Free Agency ain't over until it is over.
First 6 years BB - 41 wins and 54 losses with 1-1 playoff record with 2 teams Browns and Pats

14 INTs really isn't that bad as long as you have 28+ TDs.
That's how I've always looked at it anyway.
Always try to be 2:1 TDs to INTs or better.
And when looking at players around where Burrow is, there are some other big names:
Matt Stafford - 15
Josh Allen - 15
Justin Herbert - 14
Derek Carr - 14
Patrick Mahomes - 13
Lamar Jackson - 13
Tom Brady - 12
Plenty of good QBs have that many INTs.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins

Doesn’t he look like an idiot? I think we all knew he was when he ranked Joe below baker, Ben (who was already clearly declining last year), and then all of the rookies this year.

Yeah, I have no worry about it. I was looking at it the other day and noticed that aside from Rodgers, all of the really good QBs are hovering around the low teens on INT numbers. It's even more encouraging when I think about the half dozen of them that are 90%+ the fault of a receiver, although I'm assuming that the other guys have those as well.
He's only gotten better with his decision making too. He had some bafflingly bad decisions earlier in the year, but those have really cleaned up since the bye week.

Raw interceptions don’t tell you much, INT % is a more accurate metric to build opinions off of. How many interceptions are they throwing in relation to how many passes they are throwing? Burrows INT% was at point bottom three in the league, but he’s doing a great job now.

Because Rodgers and Brady. Those 2 guys could have -1500 yards passing 0 TDs 33 INTs and their teams could go a combined 0-34 and they would STILL be placed 1 and 2 or 2 and 1 with a list of all the excuses, er "reasons" why they're numbers 'aren't as good as they normally would be'.
Which QB is having the best season:
A) 352 com 513 att 68.6% 3977 yards 35 TD 4 INT 111.1 qb rating
B) 366 com 520 att 70.4% 4611 yards 34 TD 14 INT 108.3 qb rating
C) 456 com 682 att 66.9% 4990 yards 40 TD 12 INT 100.5 qb rating
Now, sure, QB A has the best QB rating and the least INTs, but QB C has the highest yards and TDs. Honestly, given ALL the stats, I'd probably go C then B then A.
A is Rodgers
B is Burrow
C i s Brady

Burrow has a 2.7% int percentage.
Stafford is 2.6%.
Josh Allen is 2.5%.
Herbert is 2.3%.
Pro Bowl QB Lamar Jackson is at 3.4%

Oh yeah, I know, I have a spreadsheet with all of these guys. Sorry, I wasn't meaning that as an actual question but using it as a quick explanation.

I don't think that you can really go wrong with any of them. I would also probably pick Brady's numbers out of all 3. To be super obvious, more yards + more TDs is gonna give your team more points, and a better chance of winning.

100%, but no worries. As long as people aren't yelling at me over something I said sarcastically, we're good.
Sarcasm is super hard to read without using your ears anyway, and the tag defeats the purpose of sarcasm, IMO.

Lamar should withdraw from the pro-bowl on principle. It should be some 3 QB combination of Burrow, Mahomes, Allen, and Herbert, with the 4th one being the AFC SB representative.
Lamar Jackson being in there is a joke.
