In 2 games this year, I've watched TJ Watt and
Micah Parsons in separate weeks become complete
Wrecking machines vs ZTs offense
They line up all over like a chess piece and impose
Their will.
How come Lou and Zac don't take a page from
The Steelers / Cowboys book and attempt to
Infuse their own destroyer on defense
All I ever see is Trey and Sam at their same DE spots
Wilson and Pratt stay stuck in their same LB positions
Their is no one on this defense that other OCs have
A fear of.
It's funny if Micah Parsons was drafted by this team
Lou would use him to play the run,not to terrorize
The QB.
What In the heck did they draft ADG for?
To cover backs on flare routes ?
If your front 4 can't generate a pass rush
Then GET CREATIVE LOU!!!

We don't seem to draft lbs that pass rush. We draft undersized coverage types. Always have.

we could have had Parsons but we chose Chase.. not sure how we can argue picking Parsons. Also what majority of teams have a Watts or Parsons.. also what majority of teams have a Chase and Watts/Parsons...hmm

When is the last time we took a pass rusher in the first...
and he never starred until he went to San Fran.

Justin Smith was more productive with the Bengals than with San Fran.

Can't have Watt because we drafted Ross. Can't have Parsons because we drafted Chase.
One of these picks is easier to stand by.

We have that in the Secondary with Dax Hill but we don’t play that guy.
They considered him a top 15 pick but ain’t playing him like one.

We drafted Ossai to be that guy. He's working on it.

I asked regarding a "type" of player where you
Can line that player up in multiple spots.
For whatever reason,Lou refuses to think
Outside the box on his front 7.
He is still running the same defense
From last year with no variation

We drafted Ossai in the 3rd round to be our All-Pro, game wrecking pass rusher? Shit, I hope that one pans out.

RIght, I just pointed that out because it adds some extra sting when we could have had the genuine article. When TJ Watt drives Burrow into the ground you get the double whammy of realizing he could be on our team going after the Steelers QB but noooooooooo we had to have John "this guy will clearly be awesome as soon as Marvin is gone" Ross.
It's like Bears fans having to watch Aaron Rodgers own them because they drafted Cedric Benson, or Browns fans watching Ben own them because they drafted a TE who did unspeakable things to an elderly woman...geez on that one...can't even play the "Well at least we didn't draft a sex offender" card.

David Pollack never went to San Fran

I would love to have a guy like that on the Bengals but no such luck. All teams miss on some picks but I think this team is underachieving. They are more talented than both the teams they have lost to.
Remember that just a few short months ago a lot of other teams’ fans were asking “why can’t my team have a WR group like Chase, Higgins and Boyd?”

This is a good reminder that they did try this once. Marvin had big plans for Pollack and I think they were even going to change to more of a 3-4 defense to get him space to rush the passer.

I apologize for being snippy and rude...I'm really
Frustrated seeing ZT being unable to keep Watt and
Parsons in check and the only time the Bengals
Moved the ball was Parsons getting a breather
I see those 2 being used as "jokers" on D and creating
Communication issues for our oline
Meanwhile, we just line up our ends in the same spot
And we keep Dax Hill on the bench who athletic talents could give a jolt to this paint by numbers
Defense
