This is what Burrow does...gets better throughout the season and throughout individual games.

I guess we are somewhat lucky that he was injured his rookie season.  No telling how well he would have played down that stretch and cost the Bengals Ja'Marr Chase.   Ninja

We were crazy blessed those years for things to just fall into place like that, but we were due big time.

And I will never forget yelling at the TV when Dalton tied that Miami game up and it went to OT.  We NEVER recover onsides kicks!  I was losing my mind thinking just one fluke play, a fumble, a pick six, and we lose Burrow.

I think they would have taken Herbert over Tua as they really like him in the Senior Bowl, but Burrow was exactly what we needed.  This team will be in the hunt for 20 years if he continues to play that long....and he just might.

FWIW, I really hope they find a way to get Tee AND Chase extended.  I think that trio will be lethal for a decade.  I know all the arguments why you don't (finding WRs is easier now, too much money in one position group) but you can't always properly evaluate character and drive.  Lots of us (me included) wanted Ross....bust.  I wanted Mims....don't think he's done much.  It is still a 50/500 proposition at best and that is with first rounders.

I would rather go cheap at TE, RB, and keep drafting other premium positions to keep the cost at bay with 2nd contracts (CB, OT, DE) and keep Higgins with Burrow and Chase.

Destiny dude. So happy we got Burrow and not Herbert, nothing against Herbert but I just don't see an IT factor with him.

Big arm, great talent, but he isn't Joe Burrow. This guy is special like Tom Brady special with even more talent and just as
much fire. Joe Burrow can WILL his team to victory the way QB's like Brady, Peyton, Montana and Brees could do.

That would be sweet if we could keep both Tee and Chase. I doubt it, but hey, anything is possibly with Tee being banged
up a lot and him also being a Bengal fan growing up.

Burrow's consecutive 60% completion streak ended today at 27 games but his streak of consecutive games with 1+ TD continues. He's the active leader with 18.

How close would he have been without the Tee drop and the two Boyd miscues?

I'm bummed to hear this because he was so close to maintaining it (one more completion or one less incompletion), but still a hell of a run.

1 more completion would have put him at 62%.

So his play is regressing.  Guess we shouldn't extend him in the offseason Ninja

Twelve Bengals were credited with at least one tackle of Henry on Sunday — all 11 starters and backup defensive end Joseph Ossai.

This may be the stat that shows the most important growth in our offense this year. Last year with 75 yards for a TD, it was 4 plays and a throw to Ja'Marr who ran for 50 yards and a TD. This year it may take 15 plays to go that same 75. But this year we eat up clock and are harder to defend because there are far more successful plays in the offensive playbook. The red zone efficiency proves that
