Should we go after Baker Mayfield?

The Rams were the only team to put in a claim for him

He's probably glad the Texans didn't claim him. That team is terrible.

The Texans don't want to get better.  They want the #1 pick.

Derek Carr just ain't that guy. 9th year in the NFL, 2 winning seasons.

Even Matthew Stafford had 4 winning seasons with the Lions in his first 9 years.

To be fair to Carr their offensive line is pretty bad and he's been without Waller and Renfrow for most of the year. There are worst starters than Carr.

Gotta give carr a little benefit of the doubt... The raiders themselves have been a hot mess for a bit..

If they can become stable for a year or 2 they might be able to do something.  But Carrs Time might be getting shorter at least for the Raiders.

Baker and the Rams seems like a good fit so far..

" let Baker Bake!" is Rams new slogan
that was wild....honestly felt good to see him prove some people wrong.  Off the tarmack and leading a last minute 95yd winning drive...
He is a solid Qb if you put him in right Offense.

Don’t over rate Baker. Raiders ****** themselves in the ass with penalties the final two drives including offsides on a punt which led to a score.

Baker had less than 2 days and maybe 1 practice with the rams before this game.   (a team that had lost 6 straight vs a team that won 3 straight)

Now not saying the Raiders are a good team...  Just he did pretty well on a short turn around on a team with a Horrible OL and Missing its best WR

He's still got Davante Adams and a running back that is leading the league in rushing with 1400 yards already.

Meanwhile he was going against Baker Mayfield and Van Jefferson.

When you near a decade, you lose that benefit. As I said before, even Matthew Stafford could win more with the Detroit Lions. Talk about a team that was a hot mess.
