Rank our CBs
#1
We move back to the D and rank our Dime Package (not the type I bought in OTR back in the day). There's a slight possibility that DJ overtakes Cam as starter, but either way both would be in on the 4 CB set along with Awuzie and Hilton. So, where you got them?

Too inexperienced (especially with our above average safties gone this year) to accurately tell. Ill let you know after game 8 this season.

If DJ Turner can prove these first few practices arent a fluke and he can be a solid outside #3 we could have a really talented CB room. Awuzie gotta come back strong and CTB gotta make that next level jump. Hilton is mr. reliable I got no worries about him bringing it.

I live my the mindset that a highly-touted prospect is good until they prove otherwise.
That's why I voted 6-12 range.

Awuzie - stud
CTB - promising
Turner - love his fit and potential
Hilton - very good slot
Jones - solid CB4/5 if he can stay healthy

If Turner/CTB really live up to that draft hype this year, I'd be willing to put them as one of the best CB units in the league.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Could be very exciting group providing Awuzie gets back to his pre injury best and the young fellas can match their potential with output.

I had to vote middle of the pack. Too many if’s in Awuzie coming back and young guys who have to prove it. Hilton is still solid.

I’d bet good money out CB core will not be middle of the pack this season. They were already good as a unit and we just got Awuzie and added DJ Turner who by all account did wow’ing at camp despite being burned by Jamarr twice for deep balls.

They've got some proving to do with Awuzie being healthy again and Turner proving his worth which I see happening.

So went with Elite and definitely think it will be a strength for the Bengals.

Yep

I think by the time this season is over they'll be a solid unit. I can't place them in elite right now, went 6-12. But I don't believe they'll be as bad as many think. Oh they'll struggle some early. But they'll get it figured out.

They are quite young for the most part, but I do think the talent and speed are there, but more importantly they have great depth now. So, while they are not there yet, I think by the end of the season they will be around 6-12 so that is what I went with. But 13-19 would be fair as well.

With Chido coming back healthy, Mike being one of the best Slot Corners in the league and our young talent in CTB, DJ
Turner and Ivey looking good already I could see us being elite this year at Corner. Also like our depth now with Sidney
Jones and Jalen Davis.

If there’s an area on the team that looks improved since our surge to the top of the AFC it’s CB and OL.
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

Auwzie is a top CB when healthy, Hilton is the best Nickleback in the game, and Taylor Britt is coming off a hell of a post season run

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

Interesting take considering Hilton and Awuzie are proven vets.  CTB had a very solid rookie year as well as adding Jones and Turner
