He isn’t wrong. Didn’t cost us the game, and I don’t think refs are after us. That’s just plain incompetence. No idea why refs have this protected status.

Well, we also got hosed out of a turnover on a REALLY iffy call. And the refs appeared to violate player safety rules by not stepping in right away when the rats started hitting Burrow late-ish. It's supposed to draw a warning on the first one and an ejection on the next one.

Ikr, the refs were quick to throw the flag today but very slow to blow the whistle to stop a play.

We got outplayed in every aspect except punt returns.
It wasn't the refs.

You can still call out when they are terrible without claiming they cost the game.

It was such an egregious call that it's hard to look at the ref standing there, wondering why he threw the flag on the defender. If you don't see the penalty clearly -- and obviously he did not see it clearly -- then don't make a call at all, rather than a blatantly wrong call. I'm glad Tee called out the ref as it is basically supporting the Bengals DB corps.
And NFL? You're a billion-dollar business. Please hire full-time refs rather than people who are middle school administrators and accountants during the week. They need to study all week the tendencies of players they will be observing on Sunday to recognize those trying to get bogus calls or get away with holding, and some of the week to analyze what they did wrong in the games they officiated. Let's not leave this up to people whose main job is elementary school principal, etc.

He saw something that didn’t look right and threw a flag. It’s laziness.

The phantom calls, and the lack of calls on teams like KC, where their right tackle was lining up so far back he was in a slot receiver position, and was so blatant about it even the announcers were talking about it, give the NFL a really bad look when you factor in that they are now pushing gambling. Now, I'm not claiming yet this is the case, but that case could easily be made.

Maybe if the NFL invested more time with updated rules into making sure the refs are making correct calls than making sure they squeeze every second of commercials they can get, games would have far less bad calls/non-calls. See end of Broncos-Commanders game yesterday with that horrific non-call that the game ended on. Insane that can't be looked at in this day and age.

That non-call in the Broncos-Commanders game was indeed a blatant miss by the ref, as noted by non-other than Gene Steratore. And it was in front of the Broncos crowd. I'd have hated to be a Broncos fan when they made that amazing hail-Mary comeback only to have a blown call rob any chance of an overtime game.

Right? And that lead directly to a TD. All this did was lead to a FG they were going to kick anyways. We would have had no time to make a drive anyways since it was the end of the half. This call was awful but in no way consequential.

I know the calls at the end of the Super Bowl were pretty bad, but the Tee TD was absolutely awful by the refs lol.

They tried allowing reviews of PI and thankfully it didnt last. The last thing this game needs is to be able to challenge every penalty or non called penalty that happens during a game. I agree that it was PI on the defender in the denver game but Im glad we dont have reviews for it any longer.

Maybe they can review any penalties in endzone, that would have cured the Rams problem and this one. Because a PI there could have gave them the ball at the 1, even though they just called it a hold.
