I think they are content with a 50 yarder or so by trusting Mixon not to fumble it

Did you not notice Brown tackled for losses as well?  It's not a Mixon problem.  It's a line problem rarely making a hole and all too regularly letting defenders maintain their gaps or penetrate the backfield.

I see chase brown 9 carries for 6.8 YPC.
 and mixon with 19 carries for 3.6 YPC
