Bengals gameday
#1
Hello Bengals fans

I will be making a trip to your city to see the Monday night game this year. We travel to an away game once a year and have enjoyed meeting fans from across the NFL. I grew up in Kentucky and grew up a Bengals/Reds fan.

I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions re your gameday traditions. best places to stay , things not to miss while in your city.

best restaurants,  etc.

thanks in advance for any suggestions.

You can stay at my cousin Skeeter's house. It's not so much a house as it is an RV that is not street legal, but there's plenty of room on the couch.

He owns his own tour bus (really just an astrovan, but there's AC so it's cool) company called Queen City Shuttles, so I am sure he'll take you around town. His friend Doug works at Procter and Gamble, and for $15, he'll give you a tour. You just have to wear a P&G janitor's jumpsuit in case his boss is there.

After that, you can always check out their world famous chili. Everyone swears by Skyline, but for the really good stuff, have Skeeter take you to our friend Eddie Taylor's house. Just make sure Skeet calls ahead to make sure Eddie's stepdad Mike is still in prison. He is usually makes meth in the kitchen when he's home, so Eddie might not be able to cook some chili.

Other than that, be sure to check out the gazebo the city built when they were trying to win the 2012 Olympic games. Our buddy Jimmy DeLuca lives near there and sells some really good good knock off jerseys.

Check out the Bengals bomb squad website and tailgate. I heard it's the best. Stay on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River. Embassy Suites is good. Check out the Horseshoe Casino and eat at Montgomery Inn where they have the best ribs. You can try some of the bars in The Banks or the Leshae brothers' bar in Over the Rhine. They film a reality show there.

Check out Newport on the Levee. Plenty of shops & restaurants and even a bowling alley.
