a good true bengal fan mock.

Post FA expecting we are done from here on out...

We do trade one of our comp picks...the fifth rd comp to move up in the third to add Orlando brown.

Rd1. Vita Vae Dtackle Washington- Atkins although still playing at a all pro level isnt getting any young and with ?'s @ Billings glasgow and baker (I.E prove it deal) we have true 1-2 punch in the middle. i cant imagine who will run against us with vita next to geno. I dont think baker takes vae off the board for us and we are always BPA so if he falls i bet we run to the podium for vita vae.

Rd2. James Daniels C Iowa- Big powerful nasty center who will instantly tone down the pressure in daltons face play to play and open up pornstar gaping holes for mixon up the guts. Send bodine to aushwits and be done with it. Plus daniels is from Iowa...Iowa boys know one thing...how to block.

Rd3. Darius Leonard Linebacker NC State- Reminds me a ton of alec ogletree coming out...very explosive from sideline to sideline. Sure tackler with coverage ability...hes lightening in a bottle and paired with burfict and brown...WOW... lookout!!! Burfict is either hurt every other play or suspended. Linebacker is our biggest need at this point if we arent talking about the oline. MIKE BROWN...Handle this.

Rd3.(trade up with 5th rd comp pick) Orlando Brown Right Tackle Oklahoma- Massive vagina but if we can get the best out of him...the third is great value...people wanting this dude in the first are high as kites and should share what they smoking. In the third tho we can shore up the entire offensive line with Orlando brown.

Rd4. Deon Cain WR Clemson- Burner with a ton of upside. was the number 2 overall prospect outa highschool with great over the top speed. I truly dont think anyone ever gets anything out of John ross. Lets get someone whos fast in the 4th. not the damn 9th overall pick with an injury plagued career cuz hes TINY. well done bengals. fix ur mess here.Go with Cain.

Rd5. Alex Cappa OT Humboldt State- Small school kid with a ton of upside. Orlando brown is an ambitious pick with what he displayed at the combine. Also our other tackle backup in fisher was just cleared with a heart issue...that worries me. Cappa can come in get snaps get familiar and develop into a stud at this level. Love cappa.

Rd6. Bo Scarbrough RB Alabama- Scarbrough reminds me alot of Larry Johnson from penn state. Big physical runner who can tote the load and take it the distance. Down hill runner who can wear a defense down. If we lose mixon or bernard to injury we have no one. That worries me. god forbid an injury we could still have a compitent stud behind them two to help tote the rock. Scarbrough in the 5th imo is a steal for us for depth depth. having only bernard when mixon went down for a few games worried me a bunch last year.

Rd7. Kyle Allen QB Houston- Kyle Allen has everything u cant teach and u want in a qb. size, arm strength, tough, toughness, etc. Just needs reps. here in cincinnati...thats all he will get. The kids got all the potential in the world to take over a franchise just needs time to develop. Here he has all the time in the world. In the 7th Allen is a steal and will be the best Allen of the two qbs coming out.

Rd7. Eddy Pinero K Florida- Dude kicked a 75 yarder in high school. what else u wanna know. Bring him in have him and bullock battle it outagain and may the best man win. i liked the little kicker story line coming from camp last year.

Well bengal fans youre welcome...this draft solves everything from a personnel standpoint. Best mock in here. WHO DEY

It's a great draft because you have Vea and Daniels who are projected to go much higher than you have them.

If it went down like this, it would be a nice haul.

hahaha much higher lol i have them going in the rounds their projected in. dont know if much higher is accurate, however u could probably sell me on Vae not being there although ive seen mocks after the combine with him falling close to us at 21...daniels however will probably be there early in the second. Hes the 3rd rated center and 5th rated interior offensive lineman, plus hes undersized like most iowa offensive lineman are he needs and can play heavier. Also interior offensive lineman tend to fall. im hoping he will be there for us in the second and we do have ammo with comp picks to move up for it. so Vae i feel u...probably wont be there but def could. Daniels will be. Best mock in here. the rest blow lol im playing, kinda tho.

Almost every draft person that I follow has Daniels as a first rounder.  Not trying to nit-pick, but he's almost always mocked in the first round.

As for Vea, I'd be shocked if he got out of the top 15.

I have a hard time believing two Centers go in the first round when only two total have been drafted in the 1st round in the last 5 years (one of those was at 31). I think you see Daniels or Price in the 2nd round depending on the team who takes a shot in the first preference.

I think I am in this same boat, but with that said, I don't think Price or Danials would make it to pick 12 in the 2nd round either. I think one might go in the 1st round but the other will be snagged up in the very early part of round 2. So while I don't think both go in the 1st as you said, I don't think we will have a chance at either if we don't take one at 21. Price isn't going to drop nearly as far as some are expecting him to, especially with Dr's anticipating him being ready for OTA's.

Normally I would agree with you.  But, when was the last time there have been 2 centers that carried first round grades?

Here's a few things that worry me:

1.  Baltimore is in the market for a center.  If I remember correctly, Ryan Kelly went off the board in the teens a couple years ago. I wouldn't put it past Baltimore to take one.

2.  IF, and it's a big IF, Buffalo stays where they are and keep #22, they could be in the market for a center as well.

3.  The Giants could look at one in the early 2nd round.

I don't know that I roll the dice on getting one of the top 3 if we wait that long.

Well the questions is tough to answer because who says there are two with first round graded Centers? "Grades" are always really tough to guess as every year guys fall that the pundits lose their minds over then after we hear that all the teams didn't have them graded anywhere near where the pundits did. Billings is a good example of this a couple years back where no one could figure it out then after the draft it started coming out that no team had anything close to a 1st round grade on him, but to many he was a sure fire 1st.

As for worrying about other teams? I think 3 centers in the first 45 picks would be a record so I feel history is on our side, but who knows.

I'll admit, I'm probably paranoid after sitting through all these years of poor center play.

The thing that worries me, and it ALWAYS happens, is that a team will jump up right in front of us knowing that we have a need at center.

So, while the norm is that 3 won't go in the top 46, I'd bet a lot of money that come day 2 of the draft that some team will slide right into #45 and take a center in front of us. That's the main reason I think that 3 could easily go in the top 45 this year.

i agree with you 100%.  to remedy that why not grab our center at 21?  is daniels too early for u at 21? (personally i dont think so at all based on our desperate need)
I think with our immediate and early interest in Coleman shows they really want to upgrade our safety position....with the addition of baker on a 1 year prove it deal i feel a lot better about Ronnie Harrison in the 2nd and Daniels in the first instead of Vea, cuz as i said before i agree with u and center is a bigger need now then DT...teams are always jumping ahead of us to grab our guy and before anything this year our guy at center needs to be the top priority and to make that happen, i am 100% on board with Daniels at 1 for us and then why not go ronnie harrison in the second and remedy the concern at safety....then just leave the rest of the draft the same for example....
1.James Daniels
2.Ronnie Harrison
3.Darius Leonard
3.Orlando Brown
4.Deon Cain
5.Alex Cappa
6.Bo scarbrough
7.Kyle Allen
7.Eddy pinero
??  what u think????

I'm drafting either Daniels or Price at #21.  There's no other option in my mind.  That's just my opinion, but I really think that we have to take either one of them.  I can't see either there at #46.
