How does that cost $32? Pineapples cost like $3, raspberries cost like $3, a bag of grapes cost like $5 if you get a big bag. Where is he shopping? one of those whole food stores that hike the prices up a ton? Those kind of stores are more comparable to eating at a sit down restaurant. Things like grapes and raspberries cost a lot more than things like bananas, apples, and all other kinds of fruit. You could buy some chicken, tuna, veggies, potatoes, rice, and some fresh fruit really cheap.

Going off my local store (not a Kroger) and their usually prices: Pineapple $4, raspberries $5, grapes $4(x2), nuts $1, drink $2. So that's $20(ish) here. Kentucky doesn't have a food tax (yet).

So, that seems inflated.

Or: Free medicare for all... and drug/medical companies who spent billions lobbying congress to manipulate markets and keep costs unrestricted to increase profits while charging tax payers are going to pay for it!

When I was younger watching debates with my family, there was a few guys basically arguing over who's more christian. I asked my mom, a devout christian, what she thought, and she didnt hesitate to look at me and say "if they are in politics, they are not christian at all." I didnt understand it until I got a little older. The more I looked into politics with no affiliation myself, I came to realize that they are all liars. Often the same donors donate to both campaigns on both sides of the fence. Its disturbing. I might actually vote if they took the money out of campaigning. But voting for a bunch of people who will bow down to the biggest donors isnt like voting at all. They rarely even act on their words in fact often they do the opposite. Voting to me is more like a waste of a good day lol. MTV says Rock The Vote. I say stay home. In fact lie to your boss and take the day off and go have fun. The illusion of choice is not productive after all.... and I know this may get me hated, but I've looked and looked for some good in politics and its just not really there from what I see....

Not to defend politicians, but I'm a little concerned this line of thinking is going to lead to even more celebrity presidents in the future.

That could very well be. People have to convince others that voting matters more than it does and it may change. There is a whole wave of potential voters who dont vote for similar reasons that I listed. Its not going to get better, and its not "the peoples" fault. Its too much corruption and it gets so confusing to some people so they withdraw totally. I grew up in an area who had a lot of corruption in local politics. Its a massive tun off.

On a side note, I seem to remember reading an article a loooong time ago that predicted celebrities will eventually take over politics. Celebrities have a lot of money, resources and fans. They also usually talk a lot about politics. I figure its very realistic to think that this will happen.
