***Official 2019 NFL Draft Discussion Thread***
I don't know much about RB Williams, but he hits the hole quick. Is he a home-run threat?

Damn snowflakes were screaming for new coaches and now snowflakes are screaming for their picks, not the coaches picks.  Snowflakes, everywhere.

There are a lot of whiny crybabies on this board. I also wanted new coaches. I also know that they know a lot more about how to rebuild a team than I do.

LB group still terrible. They’ve drafted one guy and kept a bunch of scrubs. The LB group will continue to be the Achilles Heel of the defense. It’s almost like the front office is willfully ignoring the dumpster fire at LB. Maybe they plan on dumpster diving after cut downs?
Through 2023

Mike Brown’s Owner/GM record: 32 years  223-303-4  .419 winning pct.
Playoff Record:  5-9, .357 winning pct.
Zac Taylor coaching record, reg. season:  37-44-1. .455 winning pct.
Playoff Record: 5-2, .714 winning pct.

Well on MJD (Jones-Drew) list for 5 toughest RB's in draft

I love that

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

He was the most productive RB in the SEC. Good pick, albeit a luxury pick.

Off season is far from over, there are 2 very good free agent LB's available and Lee may be available for trade

I think they will target another backer in Hodge, Hasen, or Coney.  Then take a kicker.  Maybe WR.

There ya go.. Change geography if for no other reason than to confuse grade school kids.

On a side note.. I've never been particularly happy with pundit descriptions of comparing players with each other or older players with younger guys.
It's just too easy to sit at a keyboard in an office somewhere and pretend to be inside the heads of coaches, their staffs and especially inside the heads of players based on a few minutes of video of games.
These young players are never set in stone enough to declare they'll never change, get better or worse. One mistake off the field is generally not enough to make assumptions they'll always be the way the media depicts them to be. Young people will always make young people mistakes. There's nothing new with that, but often they grow up and quit making the same stupid mistakes. The same applies to how they play the game itself. They're often not fully developed when drafted and can add or lose weight and learn new techniques from a coaching staff to become excellent players when they weren't doing too well as college players...and of course the opposite can occur when they were absolute stud in college, but fizzle out bad in the pros..
In the immortal words of my old man, "Wait'll you get to be my age!"

Chicago sounds rough to the maker of verse, but the one comfort we have is Cincinnati sounds worse. ~Oliver Wendal Holmes Sr.

I admit, I was going full snowflake crybaby until Marvin left.  As much ad I roll my eyes at the over use of the snowflake term, its better than the old days when people would say that people who were complaining were acting like women.

Toxic people love to bring negativity everywhere.
You can only be bothered by your own thoughts. You can only be p*ssed about your own life.

Long gone to Titans. That sucks!

The issue is, people who took Sample in the 2nd AND people who deemed him a 4th round pick BOTH know more about football than me. It's quite the conundrum.

Why are they ignoring the linebacker position so much? Are they trading for lee, or what the hell is going on. Our linebacker group is a dumpster fire.

Yep.  I suspect M Brown told the coaches, "make this the best Offense in the NFL", at the expense of the D.

Shocking, I had no idea the new regime or the old never signed a free agent under 35 years old.   Sarcasm
