I also have seen DJ pretty much going #1 overall. Whats your reasoning for Elliott? (I don't think it's a bad choice)
Elliott is a BEAST...Big Reason Buckeyes Beat Bama and won NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP.....COWBOYS have GREAT O LINE and why the Rookie Prescott at QB looked good and the rookie Elliott...All Elliott needs is a blocking lane. He can break a 60 yard Touchdown on any carry. He is like ex Buckeye Eddie George on that but maybe better.  Don't look for any of the 2017 NFL Rookies to be an Elliott.  Elliott is a Jim Brown, OJ Simpson type that you don't see everyday.  Give him a hole and he can go all the way.  Behind the Dallas O Line, This is a Lock Solid Pick at #1.

Although I'm practicing picking 6th and 12th...and I find I like Bears Howard there....and Dolphins RB Ajayi with my 2nd pick....People are going to go up and grab Fournette and I know what Ajayi can do in the NFL, not these Rookies. Oh, if Ajayi is gone and Fournette there at 2, sure, I grab him.

I tried taking QB-Brees at 2, but I can't get a good stable of RB's that way. You need a couple solid starters. Two 1,000 yards rushers...Got To Have It....I find I'm better off going 1 and 2 on RB....3 and 4 on WR...5 on RB....6 and 7 on QB......8 on WR....9 on Bengals RB Hill if he is there, a good solid # 4 RB. I look for him to still be Bengals TD guy, and those are big Fantasy Points.....10 and 11 on WR were i try to get both Top Rookies Williams and Ross, but if one or both gone, there are guys that had big years in NFL last year on the board....12. I try to grab a TE like Chargers Henry or equal talent....13 I try to grab a Defense like Patriots, Giants, Seattle, Denver, Dallas or Vikings or Bengals, Ravens or Steelers.  I'm getting good D options at 13.....14 and last is kicker where Justin Tucker probably gone. I have no problem taking Vinatiari or Prater here. Anybody decent will work.

But yes, If I get the #1 pick it would be Elliott behind the Cowboys O Line.  What you saw his Rookie Year is just the start. This could be another Jim Brown type.  Nobody ran on that Bama D, but he did. He tore up the best Defenses in college. He just killed Michigan.  There was a big game, I think Michigan State, where Ohio State passed too much and lost. They hardly ran Elliott and he let Coach Urban Meyer know he didn't get the ball enough and he could have won the game. Meyer must have listened because he never cheated Elliott on carries again and Ohio State rolled to wins with Elliott in spite of using 3 different QBs due to injuries....Nobody was running on Alabama, but Elliott did.  Then there were some good teams like Michigan and Notre Dame that Elliott rushed for 200 some yards like it was nothing, breaking off long TD runs. ....Last year he was doing the same thing in a Dallas Cowboy uniform....At # 1,  behind the good Dallas Line, I would take the Jim Brown like Elliott every time.  Maybe the best RB in a long, long time.  If you want RB Fantasy Points, This is your MAN. ...I'll say it clear. Ohio State never wins NCAA Championship without Elliott. Without Elliott they don't even win The Big 10. I know the Oregon game was the Championship but Ohio State killed them as did Elliott. The Championship Play-On Game of # 4 Ohio State against # 1 Alabama. Elliott gaining yards and beating The Alabama Crimson Tide's Great Team was VERY IMPRESSIVE. ...What he did his rookie year with Dallas is no fluke. ...I wish Bengals had him....Cleveland of RB legends, Brown, Kelly, Motley, Pruitt were crazy to trade down out of 2nd pick, but I'm glad Bengals don't have to play a Cleveland Brown Jim Brown like Elliott twice a year......With Dallas Defense, O Line, QB and WR's I can see Dallas back in Super Bowls with Elliott. HE IS THAT GOOD. He could be a part of a new Dallas Dynasty, he and that young QB that reminds me of Roman Gabriel in his tough, no nonsense attitude before the snap. Elliott and Prescott could be one tough Combo. They are both kind of Old School Football tough like Otto Graham and Jim Brown. Watch out for Dallas with these young guys.

Looks Good. You nailed 2 Top RBs and got AJ Green also, looks good. Amazed you got Ryan at 6 and Ross at 13

I just did one, going 1st for a change. Just in case I get the chance...I grabbed Elliott and waited. Then grabbed Ajayi and TY Hilton and waited....Then grabbed Larry Fitzgerald and L Blount and waited.....Then grabbed Luck and Big Ben and waited....Then grabbed Wallace and Jeremy Hill and waited....Then grabbed the First Round rookie WR's Williams and Ross and waited....Then grabbed TE-Henry and Patriots Defense and waited....and with last pick in draft I took Kicker Prater still on the board.

Getting into the Draft Room early helps so I can find my players and put them in my computer list. I've learned to have back-ups in case players I want are taken. Dalton was a back-up. I wanted Toomer but he went so Fitzgerald at WR was ready to go.  If Williams or Ross gone, I was ready for T Williams or Garcon as late round WR's, but I wanted the First Round Rookies...I was set to take Pitta if Henry gone....I was set to take Giants or Dallas if Patriots gone....I wanted Tucker or any top kicker and the best left at last pick to me was Prater. ....and the great thing is there are still players I like in Free Agent Pool. Injuries or By-Weeks, I can work it....But getting Elliott and Ajayi and Blount and Hill, it's hard to get RB's in free agency during season. ....I've discovered I can get a Luck or Big Ben or Dalton at 6 and 7 every time. Those QB's are fine by me. Get a few RB's, A few WR's and then grab my QB's...and I can always in last picks go TE, Def and Kicker and get talent. Especially Defense and Kicker. ....If I could land both First Round WR's Williams and Ross at 10 and 11 every real draft, I would be very happy about that. One is going to star, if not both. ....I like Jeremy Hill at 9 as my # 4 RB..I feel Blount and Hill are great RB's in reserve in case of injuries and bye weeks.

Again, I liked you grabbing 2 top RB's and still getting Ryan and Ross at 13 is a steal.  I think Ross will have better rookie year than Mixon. He was drafted higher. The Bengals have big plans for Ross, you watch and see. The LA team drafting Williams ahead of Ross, they will get him on the field. Mixon is going higher because of the RB needs in Fantasy Football, that is all.  These First Round WR's are a steal later in the draft. You watch and see. AJ Green was a First rounder once. So was Collinsworth and I think Issac Curtis.  They aren't drafted Round One to ride the pines.

Oh, last night for fun I Mock Drafted all Bengals...Nothing I would do in a real draft...I had to look deep to find Boyd, Monroe, Peerman, Aj McCarron and kicker Bengals drafted. ...Nothing I would do in a real draft, just having some Bengals Fun practicing.

I would not worry about the D +.......The site is grading on who they think are the best players. THEY could be wrong...They seem to have Big Ben of Super Bowl Rings, Hard to Tackle, and puts up great numbers some games and years when he has the blocking and receivers.  Big Ben has at times been MR Touchdown and nobody wants to play their passing game.  Having Bell running will open it up for the passing...Yet all this and Big Ben is rated low this year.  Luck, the top draft pick who replaced Peyton Manning can flat out throw, but is rated low.  So is his WR TY Hilton who led the NFL last year in passing yards.  The best defense in NFL last year was Super Bowl Patriots, also rated low.  One of the better RB's last year was Blount, also rated low.  The top pass catcher was Larry Fitzgerald, rated low.   Eifert is rated low and Bengal Fans know IF he is healthy, Dalton hits him over and over in the end zone for Touchdowns.  Gronk is rated low compared to last year.

I disagree with letting the computer make my picks. The computer is programmed by people who have preseason rated these players

There is NO WAY anybody on the computer can rate your picks as a D or an A at this point. It's way too early. Your guess is as good as theirs. Don't get fooled by these so called Experts on these Football Web Sites. They don't know any more than we do. They are Front Runners. ......I thought you getting 2 good RB's and then also QB-Ryan was a great start.  You got Hunter Henry who Rivers goes to. You getting Bengals Top Puck Ross at second last pick was a steal.....Don't let anybody tell you that is a D rated draft. ....I know who I want in the draft and they are not all top picks according to the Draft Experts.  ....Look, you can only get one First Round Pick anyway.  .....I know who I value in each round, I will go 2 Top RB's as you did. I don't even go QB until 6, 7 or 8 depending where I draft. I'm locked in on Big Ben, Luck and if one is gone, Dalton.  THe Computer may give me an F, I don't care.  I grab my top RB's and then my top WR's.   My top WR's from pick 3 on are TY Hilton and Larry Fitzgerald, WHO I WANT.......I would like to grab both of the first 2 WR's taken in 2017 Draft as I finish out my draft. . ..At the end, TE, DEFENSE, Kicker

So I suggest having a plan and back-up picks if your guys go too early. Don't worry about how the Computer Grades you. You line up your players you think will be on the board in each round....I liked your mock draft. You nailed 2 good RB's and still got Ryan at QB.  ...You have a good plan, don't let the Computer talk you out of it too much. I thought you went a little high on TE and Defense but I could be wrong. Maybe I'm going too late on TE.  If Gronk or Eifert have big years, I've noticed if one teams TE has a big game and the other team has a blocking TE, That point swing wins it for the TD scoring TE team.  ....So don't listen to me or Computer.....Your Mock Draft you posted looks good. You have a good plan of attack going.

If I pick first, I will take Elliott.....If I pick last, I will take Howard.....and either way hope I get Ajayi as my second RB. then 2 WR's....Then I need to land 2 QB's a WR and 2 RB's, not in that order....and then hopefully the top rookie WR picks...then TE, Def, K.....That is My plan. Good or Bad, it is my plan and the Computer won't talk me out of it with Grade Score....Plus, their will be good Free Agent Defenses to add. WR's and TE Free Agents will rise depending on their QB's who are going to them. ...The Draft is just to set up working the Free Agent Pool as you go along. ...You grabbing 2 RB's early was smart because THOSE GUYS you can't find in Free Agency much.

I just tried one picking last and who Computer Site said was top on the board when I picked...I did not like it...I drafted a kicker too high going on computer and over all did NOT like the Computer Picks...When I get in some Leagues, I'll pick who I want, ....My word, the computer has kickers way too high, anybody that does Fantasy Football knows kicker is picked around last. I like my picks better than what computer was saying best players. ...I mean, if somebody is still on the boards I like, sure. Otherwise, I have an idea who I'm going to draft and where. ...I still think I can get a good Defense and Kicker my last 2 picks.

People say draft kicker last, the heck with the kicker.....BUT.....I'm finding on most drafts if I take Defense at pick 12,,,and Kicker at Pick 13.....My last pick at 14 of best available players on board is a steal...One mock draft 14 was Ted Ginn. The next mock draft it was OJ Howard.....Somebody good always seems to fall to last round....If I have 2 QB's, 3 RB's, 5 WR's, TE, Def, K which is 13....I seem to always add a TE, WR or RB that has slipped from higher up to last round. There is always one, " Heck YES, I'll TAKE HIM IN LAST ROUND " players name. ...I like getting that TE before or at 10.....Defense 12.....Kicker 13......and then look to see who is a steal in last round......I like filling my spots and then a last round SURPRISE name still on the board.
