Yrds: 10th place with 3,191  (only 1, 103 yrds to beat his previous franchise record)
TDs: tied for 6th place at 25 (only 9 more to beat his previous franchise record)
20 + yrd plays:  3rd with 51
40 + yrd plays:tied for 2nd with 11
QBR: 5th with 107.4 (though the passers above him are either WRs or back up QBs that probably was in on a trick play, remove them and his is 1st)   Big Grin

One important stat you left out is attempts. AD has less than 400 for the year ranking 24th (lower third) in attempts per game, but tied for 6th in TD's.

He is also top 5 in starting QB's in yards per completion

My point is he throws a lot less than most of the 7 guys ahead of him in yards so the yards stat is skewed based on Hue's play calling and Bengals ability to get big leads and ot have to throw 50 times a game. He only threw 19 times yesterday for example while most others in top 8 (yards) threw over 30 times

Free Agency ain't over until it is over.

First 6 years BB - 41 wins and 54 losses with 1-1 playoff record with 2 teams Browns and Pats

Completely agree with this.  The Bengals have had comfortable second half leads in many games, which is great for the team, but hurts his stats.  Also look at all the 1-3 yard touchdowns that Hill has this year... Andy has gotten them down there, but doesn't get credit for the touchdown.

I love the swagger Andy has in the redzone... I guess that's why we call it the REDzone... ya I just did that.

But In all seriousness, "Badger Andy" as I like to call him, makes the damned coolest QB sneaks I've ever seen. Forceful and dangerous. He really gets the team and fan base going when he does this if you ask me.

Anyone know how high Andy Dalton's "ceiling" is now?

Has to win in the playoffs. That's really the only thing left though. Without playoff wins the resume has a vacancy on it. Is he capable of it? Yes. Will he? We'll see next month.

Me personally, I don't consider just passing 3,000 yard mark with 4 games remaining, elite. To me, elite qbs in this day and age should have no less than about 4000yds. He's good, I just wouldn't call him elite.

Moron known as Fresno B,

Wraith is spelled correctly. There's an extra "i" in there from wrath. It isn't spelled incorrectly though.
Not surprised you couldn't figure that one out.

So then, there are no elite QBs in the NFL right now?

If QBs are barely reaching 3,000 yards? No. None are playing elite right now. That's only 250 yards a game average. Far from elite imo. This year is a defensive year.
