2. Rookies often struggle with the transition from 11+ games in college to 16+ games in the pros. Add another game to that.

4. More chances for concussions, which is an issue that has led to many rule changes that again hurt the product.
As an NFL fan, I'm more about quality over quantity.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
