Losing Green, Boling, Cordy Glenn, and Jonah Williams before the season even started ruined any chance he had at a decent record in 2019.I have 0 problems with Zac getting another year to straighten things out and make this team a winner, which i REALLY hope he does because i dont want another coaching change.
But before last season we added the #1 overall pick in the draft at QB, the #1 offensive lineman taken in the 2019 draft, one of the best rookie WRs in the league, plus $145 million in free agent spending and we still just won 4 games.
I am not saying a new HC has to completely turn a team around in just two season, but he has to at least show major improvement. And we have not seen that with Taylor. We still have a worse record than we did in Marvin's last season.
I mean we talk about injuries last year but McGee says it perfectly here in regards to our injuries last year:
“Remember something, this is super important to understand: when they had a healthy Joe Burrow, they weren’t winning,” McGee said. “When they had a healthy Joe Burrow and Joe Mixon, they weren’t winning. If you want to be real about the situation, you still have a quarterback that everyone is making an assumption about, that he’s going to be healthy.”
