I'm sorry, but getting OT7 in this draft isn't ideal by any stretch.  Imagine drafting the single most important guy in the sports world, then let him get hit at a record pace and follow that up by ignoring the top O-line prospect in the draft.  It's far from ideal and goes against every sound team building concept around,

It's not that black and white. In most years, sure. This year, the talent pool is deeper, so a guy at a number could easily have more talent than a guy who would normally be at that number any other year. 

I don't believe anyone thinks getting OT7 in the 2nd is "ideal". But it should be better than getting OT7 any other year.
