Teen girl in Columbus killed by police

Given the high number of teen suicides committed with a gun don't you think it would be helpful to be able to hold the gun owners responsible for keeping them out of the hands of children?

One of the biggest arguments that people have for gun ownership is home protection yet it much more likely that a person living in a home with a gun will be shot by it than an intruder.

It is time to hold gunowners responsible for the damage done by their guns.

Given how dangerous bleach can be due to improper use, don't you think it would be helpful to have training/licensing for anyone wanting to own bleach?

Given the high number of infant deaths due to unattended children drinking bleach, don't you think it would be helpful to hold the parents responsible for keeping it out of the hands of children?

One of the biggest arguments for bleach is that it's a simple house hold cleaner. But occasionally someone makes a bleach bomb or some mustard gas with it.

See how ridiculous it all sounds?

Everything you presented glossed over my point that the stigma behind mental health and the outlandish cost therein is a bigger contributor to gun violence than anything else, and every gun violence statistic is dishonest *at best* for including self induced injuries to pump their numbers.

Dude, you can be all about not owning guns and that's fine - I'm not here telling you to go buy one. But until you acknowledge the real issues with gun violence, you've got no ground to stand on that isn't set on a base of wild emotion.
