You're right, it didn't at all talk about how the narrative of unemployment benefits being the cause of the smaller job gains being erroneous and provided research that had been done to back up that claim. Sure seems like something lacking in substance or value, not at all like someone who, according to their employer, wouldn't be taken seriously by any reasonable person.
