And right now, there is no way you don't give DPOY to a player on Denver's defense.

Same for Atkins. The question is who wins. You have Palmer and Johnson playing better than ever in thei careers, arguably, and you have Eric Berry coming back from cancer. Atkins won't be wining that award.
