Please do. When you do, I’ll point out that these guys go out on routes less and are more often dedicated blockers.

The problem with the way the team uses Sample is that he often is chipping to go out onto a route instead of a dedicated block. Somebody posted those stats a few months back that showed Sample ran routes on most plays. I don’t believe this to be the case with the other TEs you are going to list.

I’d be fine with this if he occasionally got the ball, but he doesn’t just because there are so many other reads before him and no time to get to him I’m the progression. FWIW I went hard on Sample when really it’s the scheme that puts him behind the 8ball.

I still believe that with the woes this offense has they would be better off using a 6th tackle and having no TE route on the play. I don’t understand football though, so I’m sure everything I said is completely wrong.
