People coming to our borders come for all sorts of reasons. Simply saying "no" and building walls (that don't work) is waste of time.

I did not say that. I answered why we have them. In a way I wish we didn't need them. That we could all get along as a global family. But I've seen enough historical evidence to know that's not going to happen. We will continue to go to war and fight over imaginary lines and what is "ours" not "theirs".

That is not a call for "open borders".

The new walls did not work. And there are large areas where they would be completely useless. That's not complaining about anything...that's just the truth.
