You realize how ridiculous that sounds right? 8-6 is disappointing but it's also ecstatic from a certain point of view. How about looking at it as 8-6, still in playoff contention, 1 win away from a winning season, etc?

8-6 is only a disappointment if you were expecting 11-3 or better and we ALL know you weren't expecting that.
