Care to show where the evidence that this laptop is real? All of his evidence is in a link behind a paywall. This isn't going to be a Mike Pillow evidence type of situation is it?

Again I ask . . .

Why would the cameras be down on that day?
The first person he thought to call was Rudy? 
Did I hear mis-information on those two events or is that the accepted narrative?

The laptop is real. The NYT has reported on its existence since late 2020 (which is why I take umbrage with the Newsweek piece, because it's lying). The questions about the laptop are really in regard to its authenticity because, as you fairly point out, there is some shadiness afoot.

Regardless of that, the laptop exists, is in the hands of investigators, and has been used as evidence since then which points to at least some level of authenticity. That's really what the laptop thing is all about that's surfacing right now. If people had actually been paying attention to this story and not the partisan hackery surrounding it, then they would have a better idea of it.
