Trump had many, many issues with Germany and the rest of our allies. But this was speaking out of both sides of his mouth as he made deals to help Russia's oil industry but said Europe should stop buying as from them.
The vaccines were created under his administration, absolutely. Allowing companies to function quickly was a good move. He gets credit for happening while he was in office. That his supporters refused to then TAKE the vaccine because he lost an election added more deaths that I think you want to acknowledge.
And yeah, gas was cheaper during a global economic tragedy caused by a virus that Trump downplayed for MONTHS when he knew better. But then when the economy came back and oil production had been slashed (see your first point of praise for DJT) prices...wait for it...went up.
So do you blame Trump for making a deal to cut oil production, help end the pandemic (or at least slow it down) and thereby causing gas prices to rise too?
And, most importantly since you didn't answer this one, do you think he should still be going around the country holding rallies and telling people he really won in 2020 and that it was all fixed in the states he lost (not in the ones he won, of course)?
Trump did speak out both sides of his mouth. He would publicly praise despots like Kim Jung Un and then threaten them privately. He was all buddy buddy with Kim in public, but then told him he would nuke the crap out of them if they even mentioned nuclear weapons. He praised Putin publicly while laying some of the toughest sanctions Russia ever had placed on it, and rebuilt NATO.
As to the vaccines, if he hadn't streamlined regulations we still would not have the vaccines. Part of the reason his supporters then refused it take it is because asshat Democrats started trying to mandate it. The whole "my body, my choice" went right out the window. Trump supporters tend to be independent people. I took the Pfizer vaccine, because it made sense for me to do it. I definitely am not anti-vac. But every time I heard Biden or my idiot Governor try to tell me I had to take it, I wished I hadn't. the Dems don't understand free choice. If they hadn't attempted to mandate it, the pushback would not have been near as bad as it was. It simply made people suspicious. Part of this is/was also the fact they do not follow the same science they tell people to follow, since they refused to acknowledge the fact that people who had covid and recovered were actually more protected than those who got the vaccine. Then you look at the stockpiles of vaccine these companies have left over, and now it's a 3rd and 4th booster they are pushing. Sounds more like they are pushing product more that protecting people.
As to gas prices, we all know gas prices are due to speculators. When Biden came into office, the first thing he said was he was going to break the fossil fuel industry. That set the entire tone for energy prices to skyrocket.
