Jackson Carman confident he can be the Bengals starting left guard

Carman has the talent and athleticism to be a very good NFL lineman. It's just a matter of nailing the fundamentals and technique required at LG. I think moving back to left side will benefit him greatly, and he said himself, he's much more comfortable there. 

I feel like a lot of fans are rushing to write this kid off, and I'm not sure why. 

I believe this was the case with Quinton Spain too.
When he came in midway through 2020, he played primarily RG for the Bengals and was not great.
He played much better when moved back to LG, which was what he was more used to playing.
