The reason Chase is outside the top 10 almost never will put a 2nd year player up that high, especially at a sexy position like WR. If it happened to Jefferson and then Chase that backs up my post. They make these games way in advance to get them to the factories to be mass produced and shipped and distributed. They are probably already working on next years Madden. That would explain why 2nd year players get shafted. This years Madden game was already being manufactured in the factories to be shipped back before Bengals finally won in The Play-Offs in January and then went to Super Bowl. They were cranking out this years game before Chase and Bengals did anything. It would also explain Jefferson last year. So these Madden games are mostly going on player data from 2 years ago. OK, they throw in a few rookies and give them low rookie points. Some players they have on the right teams, and some they don't. The player rankings for the most part are 2 years old. Any rookies who do well in 2022 will get the shaft in 2023, because they will be using 2021 rankings mostly next year. They have to design the game, get it to the factories to mass produce and deal with backed up shipping across the world and then distribute it to stores. That takes time. So of course the game is not going to be completely up to date.
