So what is followed in the Bible and what is not followed is based on the opinion of the majority of Christians as to what is and is not acceptable in today's society.
Standards being opinion based is unavoidable.
you have to be able to seperate what was clearly words of man with what were words of God. we do that by studying the Bible and using general and special revelation. once you do that it gets clear as day. you have to be willing to accept the Word before you can truly understand it. if anyone comes with an open mind and open heart, God will help you every step of the way.
