Anderson held the NFL record for most times leading the league in passing (4) for 15 years.

He held the single season completion percentage record for TWENTY-SEVEN YEARS.  Even today when passing numbers are at historical highs only 3 QBs in NFL history have had a single-season completion-percentage higher than Anderson's 70.6 from 1982.  In 1982 the league completion percentage was 56.4.  In 2021 it was 64.8.

Riley was good but he never even sniffed any NFL records, let alone set some that stood for decades.

This isn't a Riley vs. Anderson thing. 

Take it up with the football HOF if you think Anderson should be in. Leave Riley out of it.
