If a clear upgrade is available, then yeah, I'm sure they'd go with him. The problem is that there isn't a clear upgrade. As far as Plitt vs. Allen, Allen certainly gives Cincinnati a better chance to win. You are saying "might" because he is an unknown, but he is undoubtedly worse than Allen. Allen knows the offense and provides an okay chance to win. That's about all you can ask for.
