Or perhaps Burrow is a slow starter he did mention he likes to get hit before he gets going.

I obviously don't know Burrow well enough to know what he's thinking to start a game, but it could be a mentality, that he's just out there to get into the game, run the scripted plays, and then start figuring things out mid-game and find ways to beat the defense, based off the beginning of the game. 

That may be 100% wrong, but you don't really see or feel a sense of urgency to get the ball in the EZ in the first quarter. It's silly to say they "don't care about scoring" but i just question their urgency.
