Also, for a guy and a political party who are supposedly that of the business genius, Trump and the GOP telegraphing that Paul Whelan being released is of the utmost importance is pretty stupid.  One could be really cynical and point out that Trump and the GOP are so enthused about attacking Biden that they've put Paul Whelan into a situation where he is far less likely to be released now.  Well, I'm sure it is worth it to them.

And while I'm "obsessing" over Trump, I'd like to point out that for a political party that is apparently dying to move away from Trump, they sure are nodding in agreement with this latest bit of BS from him.
