Remember, Biden blew his first run for the presidency by being caught in a lie. 

I don't think we--certainly not the country as a whole--need both sides to lie. 
I certainly am not satisfied if "my guy" turns out to be a liar. 

I think one side elects politicians that regularly tell massive whoppers and refuse to walk them back.
Those voters then claim "both sides do it" to normalize their own bad judgment.  As if Obama "lying"
about whether you can keep your doctor were no different from lying about voter fraud to contest an election.
