The question wasn't if the Bengals wanted to play, it was whether the Bills could continue since this event was from their side. 

But for next year and beyond, I think go back to the 16 game schedule and put a week in between the last regular season game and the first playoff game to reserve it for any games that needed to be rescheduled. Something like that.
