So there's logistics too. You make the game Tues and they have to find a place to stay. Fans have to make arrangements. The nfl broadcast crews, etc.
Plus, at that point, it was unknown Hamlin would survive.
I just don't think playing it Tues was an option.
Then you play it Wed, and then another game Sun? Do you move the playoffs?
I don't see what the NFL did as bad.
