Sometimes, when I see this sort of thing, I think back to times when I had shitty ideas and was fortunate enough to have someone around to tell me how shitty the idea was before I acted on it.
Unrelated to that, it sort of reminds me of the gun that the jack Nicholson Joker had in the Tim Burton movies. It looked like a pistol but had a rifle barrel. Just kind of absurd for the sake of being absurd. Like, you could make something like that if you want to, and it would technically function correctly, but it probably doesn't do a lot for you from a utilitarian perspective.
