Never thought of it but this theory sounds sound to me because it is a deep TE class and very well could drop his price. 

Hope so,  would like to keep Hurst but Bengals can't really afford to overpay for anybody presently unless it's somebody like Orlando Brown or McGlinchey on a one year deal to go all in before the cap space evaporates. 

But both will be offered contracts longer than 1 year most likely.
