Exactly but NFL executives put stock in this shit for some reason.

Mayer is plenty fast enough for a tight end, runs good routes, makes contested catches, and is a hell of a tight end.

Mayer’s strengths, like you pointed out, are mostly intangibles.

He may not have blown teams away with his speed or anything but he’s a hell of a tight end and will be Burrow’s best friend.
