I don't disagree that they like the roster. I've said many times they really like Mixon. It was evident when he signed his second contract and nothing has really changed that. Their thoughts on him doesn't make him better than he is though. I've been very conflicted over the last year on what to do with him because i like him so much for everything he does for the team...short of his inconsistent production. It's only in the last couple months that i've swung a bit to the 'replacement' side, but i don't do it easily.

With Perine being gone, i'm ok with a Mixon/Williams backfield but i'd like to see them get someone more explosive that has the ability to draw safeties in.

I agree with the 2nd half of your last paragraph. That's what i'm thinking as well.

Enjoyed that response immensely
Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.
