While person A may know it's entertainment, they still have to deal with the consequences of person B not knowing it; thanks in large part to the news source purposely misleading person B. If it had no actual impact in the real world, then I doubt anyone would care.
Exactly, but then you have ppl who I considered to be intelligent that will believe FOX as gospel and when even Fox comes out and admits they're liars, these folks say, "Well they're just saying that b/c they're being made to say it."
This tells me how psychologically strong it is for a person to have their bias' confirmed, or they just cannot admit they were duped by a con man named Trump with his big lie. Really it's cult behavior.
