We really do trust giant corporations. If someone heard from their cousin's mother in law that she saw a cockroach at that the mom and pop pizza place downtown, they'll order from some other pizza place. But a giant corporation having $500 million worth of "we're full of shit" insurance? Bah, that's just standard stuff. Nothing to see here.
If you're going to lie, lie big, so big people can't argue it. What's that saying, if you tell a man god created the entire universe in 6 days he'll believe you, but if you tell him the paint on a bench is wet he'll want to touch it to make sure?
