Why everyone is so hell bent on keeping Higgins is beyond me. You don't tie up 75% of your cap in your QB, WR1, and WR2.
If it comes to keeping WR2 or an elite nose tackle like Reader (although I am not 100% sure about him specificailly, given his age) I am 100% keeping that elite nose tackle.
People are hell bent on keeping Higgins because that’s what the front office says they want to do. Whatever the front office and head coach say, the fans just parrot it. I personally don’t want the team to dump a bunch of money into the WR2 spot
Now, if DJ Reader was even 2 years younger, I’d prioritize him over Higgins all day. Reader is why cincy’s run defense is so damn good. It’s night and day when he’s off the field
