If the safeties can play further back to avoid getting beat downfield while still having enough speed and reaction time to get to the LOS so that too much yardage isn't given up in the run game and shorter passes, I'm ok with running much more Cover 2.
But teams can dink and dunk Cover 2 if the defense isn't good/fast enough.
