Did NYC lie about welcoming immigrants?

New York, and other places, have taken them in and treated them as human beings...not cattle.  Not as some kind of disease that we need protected from.

Is illegal immigration an issue?  Yes.  It has been forever.  Dehumanizing them though is not the answer.  

So, why is NYC not welcoming them with open arms?  Certainly their Democrat opinions ring the same as yours.
