Why didn't the Bengals add a proven RB in the offseason

I don't disagree. But I don't think we can for sure say he wouldn't have been cut. I think he and the Bengals had an understanding that he likely would be taking a paycut to bring him into a fair value for both parties. And that's a piece of the puzzle for why they weren't looking outside for RBs. 

I agree he wants to be here and I think the Bengals want him to be here.
