The Backup QB position: Cooper Rush/Jake Browning-4 weeks to BYE & Burrow

We're running a limited playbook as it is, so what's to lose in that respect ? With a solid vet backup, Joe could take his time to heal.

They likely won't figure this out until it's too late.  The team can keep the cap savings if they lose Monday night because the season will be over anyway.  Might as well roll the dice with Browning and when that fails, just throw their hands up and say, "We tried!"

They wasted the last 6 weeks in my opinion.  No way management, coaches and trainers didn't know Joe's calf was on the edge. They had every opportunity to safeguard against this very situation and didn't take it.  It's just irritating because we could win with an decent backup.
