All of these players could not have gotten worse from last year to this year it is because Joe Burrow is the QB. Joe Burrow chose to play injured, so it is hard to point your fingers at the TE when everyone stats suck this year because we played a hurt QB.

Except the TEs are in a class by themselves on this team.

Burrow has looked pretty normal the past two games, so let's just look at those so we can remove the injury excuse.

Receiving in those two games:
Chase - 272 yards
Irwin/Higgins - 80 yards
Boyd - 77 yards
Mixon - 37 yards

The TEs?
2 receptions for 9 yards total (Smith - 5 yards, Sample - 4 yards)

So no, it's not just Burrow's injury making them ineffective.
