I think Browning should get the rest of the season. Not because I think he'll play like MNF every week. Give him a shot, not a lot of point in my opinion giving AJ a start if things falter... might find giving Browning these games helps us out in future seasons if Burrow gets hurt.

I agree, but it depends a lot on how Browning plays. I don't expect him to win offensive player of the week all the time, but if he comes out for 2 straight weeks going something like 10 of 27 for 70 yards, would we really want to rely on him as the future at backup?

I don't think that will happen. I'm just saying the situation is fluid. Browning was supposed to be a 3rd string practice squad afterthought this season.

So outside of his actual play, he hasn't really earned any benefit of the doubt regarding the future.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
