Your coaches are never going to have as much time as full-time scouts to properly investigate into people. They won't be able to see them play in person when you can see how they interact with their teammates and the staff members, talk to their teachers, see how they practice, talk to them, make personal connections in a region you're assigned to in order to get the real scoop on guys from people in the know, and heck.. maybe you go to see Player A play a game and some unknown Player B really sticks out to you. None of that you will be able to see just online on film.
