Truth Social going public net Trump estimated 2 to 4 BILLION
How does one quantify the value of a stock for an application that creates no product and does not generate any profits?

I am not an expert on the stock market, but my perception is that the answer to that question is hype.

Donald Trump's social media app, which apparently loses money month over month, is projected to sell high once it goes public because it's attached to Donald Trump, who has a loyal and fanatical base (as evidenced by his other stunt items selling out quickly like his shoes, NFTs, etc).

I wouldn't be surprised if this stock skyrockets at sale and quickly dissipates once stock holders realize there is not much behind the name, especially not profit.

I imagine it will operate similar to a pump and dump, except it's initial sales are based on the persona at the front rather than an intentional attempt to trick people into buying in through nefarious means.
