I agree overall, and would go a step further in that the trial seems to be about attacking DJT in general, hence this idea of him being scum, and allowing Stormy to go on and on about irrelevant details to embarrass DJT, a bell which cannot be unrung with the jury.
DJT has many flaws, but this is not a good look for the DA.
